Red Cell Stickiness Test, Low Oxygen

Measures how strongly red blood cells stick to a surface when oxygen levels are low, the conditions found in small vessels where blood flow can become blocked. A whole blood sample is tested and the result is reported as an index value. Companion tests measure the same stickiness at normal oxygen levels, or measure how easily the cells bend instead.
