Prenatal Trisomy Screening From Blood

Wisconsin rates for HCPCS 0168U

Screens a pregnancy for the three most common chromosome conditions, trisomy 21 (Down syndrome), trisomy 18 and trisomy 13, using DNA fragments found in the pregnant person's blood plasma. It reports a risk figure and, unlike some similar tests, runs without requiring a minimum amount of DNA from the pregnancy in the sample.
