Donor DNA Transplant Monitoring Test

Maryland rates for HCPCS 0118U

Monitors a transplanted organ for signs of rejection using a blood sample. It measures what fraction of the DNA in the plasma came from the donated organ; a rising fraction suggests the organ is being damaged. Unlike biopsy-based rejection tests, it does not need tissue.
