Fingerstick Blood Panel For Medication Classes

New Hampshire rates for HCPCS 0054U

Measures medications and drugs in a small blood sample to check what someone has been taking. At least 14 classes of drug are covered — the count is of drug classes, not of individual drugs, so each class may take in several substances — and each is measured by mass spectrometry. The sample is a fingerstick capillary collection rather than a full draw from a vein.
