ERBB2 Gene Copy Number In Breast Cancer

Counts how many copies of the ERBB2 gene, also called HER2, a breast tumor carries — extra copies drive a distinct form of the disease. Tumor cells are first sorted electrically out of the preserved tissue, then the gene copies are counted with labeled probes and reported as a classification.
