Spinal Injection At The Lower Back Or Tailbone

Nationwide rates for HCPCS 62311

An injection of medication — such as a steroid, a numbing drug, or a pain reliever — into the space just outside the covering of the spinal cord, or into the spinal fluid itself, at the level of the lower back or the tailbone. A single dose is delivered through a needle, which is then removed rather than left in place for a continuing infusion.
