Stomach-Intestine Connection Revision With Nerve Cut

Delaware rates for HCPCS 43855

This covers surgery to revise or reconstruct a surgical connection between the stomach and the first part of the small intestine that was created during an earlier stomach operation, combined with cutting a nerve that reduces stomach acid production. It is performed when the earlier connection is not functioning well and acid-related problems are also a concern. This is a more extensive version of a stomach connection revision surgery.
