Keyhole Tying Off Of Faulty Leg Veins

Colorado rates for HCPCS 37500

A keyhole operation in which a camera and instruments are passed beneath the tough tissue layer of the lower leg to find and tie off the small connecting veins that carry blood the wrong way between the deep and surface veins. It is done for long-standing venous disease where reversed flow has damaged the skin or caused an ulcer. The instruments are introduced away from the damaged skin so the incisions heal well.
