A tiny wireless pressure sensor is placed inside an aortic aneurysm at the time the aneurysm is repaired from within the blood vessel. Afterwards the sensor can be read from outside the body to check whether blood is still leaking into the sac, without a further procedure. It is billed in addition to the main repair.
