Repair of a bulging weak spot in the abdominal aorta from inside the vessel. A fabric-covered metal tube that branches into both pelvic arteries is threaded up from the groin and opened inside the aorta, so blood travels through the graft and the weakened wall is no longer under pressure. It avoids the large abdominal incision that an open repair requires.
