A synthetic graft routed across the neck behind the throat to connect the two main neck arteries, done as part of a stent graft repair of the aorta in the chest. It preserves blood supply to the brain when the stent graft has to cover the point where a neck artery branches off the aorta. Reattaching the artery that carries blood into the head is part of the work.
