Airway Scope With Radiation Catheter Placement

Washington, DC rates for HCPCS 31643

A scope is passed through the mouth or nose into the airways so that one or more fine tubes can be positioned next to a growth in the lung. The tubes are left in place so a radiation source can later be delivered directly to the growth; the radiation treatment itself is given separately.
