Frontal Sinus Drainage Through The Eye Socket

Surgery on the frontal sinus, the air space in the forehead above the eye, reached through a small incision beside the bridge of the nose at the inner corner of the eye socket. A little bone is removed to open a clear drainage channel from the sinus down into the nose. It is used for a blocked, infected or mucus-filled sinus on one side.
