Removing A Bone Growth From The Upper Arm With Donor Graft

Delaware rates for HCPCS 24116

This surgery removes a benign, noncancerous cyst or tumor from within the upper arm bone, called the humerus, and fills the resulting space with donor bone, called an allograft, to help support the bone as it heals. Filling the space helps restore the bone's strength and structure after the growth is removed. Donor bone used this way comes from a tissue bank rather than from the patient's own body.
