Removal of Breast Tissue, Skin and Nipple Preserved

Arkansas rates for HCPCS 19304

This covers surgery to remove the internal tissue of the breast while preserving the overlying skin and nipple. It is commonly performed to treat gynecomastia (enlarged breast tissue) or as a risk-reducing procedure for someone at high risk of breast cancer. Because the skin envelope is preserved, this approach can allow for a more natural appearance if reconstruction is planned.
