Skin Flap Repair, Eyelid Nose Ear Or Lip, Larger

West Virginia rates for HCPCS 14061

After a growth or damaged area of skin is removed from an eyelid, the nose, an ear, or a lip, the skin next to it and underlying tissue are shifted to cover the resulting gap rather than closing it with a simple straight stitch line. Unlike a free skin graft taken from a separate donor site, the moved tissue keeps its own blood supply. This version covers a larger area of repositioned tissue than its smaller companion.
