Quantitative MRI Of Tissue Make-Up In Several Organs
Delaware rates for HCPCS 0697T
A magnetic resonance study that measures what organ tissue is made of — for example how much fat, iron and water it holds — across several organs, reporting those values as numbers rather than pictures alone. Specialized sequences are collected, processed by software and reviewed by a doctor, who issues a written report. It is carried out on its own, without a standard diagnostic magnetic resonance scan of the same area at the same visit.
