An in-person session in which the information stored in an implanted diaphragm stimulation system — a therapy that stimulates that muscle to improve the pumping of a failing heart — is read out, reviewed and reported, for example the state of the battery, how the leads are performing, and how the system has been running. The system is reached wirelessly through the skin and its settings are not changed.
