Joining Arteries On A Donor Uterus Before Transplant

Vermont rates for HCPCS 0670T

Reconstruction work carried out on a donated uterus at a side table in the operating room, in which the arteries that will supply the organ are stitched together or joined to a length of vessel so they can be connected to the recipient's own arteries. Each artery join is a distinct piece of work, done outside the body before the organ is placed, so nothing is done to the patient during this step.
