Joining Veins On A Donor Uterus Before Transplant

Vermont rates for HCPCS 0669T

Reconstruction work carried out on a donated uterus at a side table in the operating room, in which the veins that drain the organ are stitched together or joined to a length of vessel so they can be connected to the recipient. Each vein join is a distinct piece of work, done outside the body before the organ is placed, so nothing is done to the patient during this step.
