Placing A Chest Breathing Sensor Electrode

An electrode that senses the movement of breathing is placed in the chest wall and connected to an implanted stimulator. The sensor tells the stimulator when the patient is breathing in, so stimulation can be delivered in time with each breath. It is placed in addition to the main implant operation.
