Artificial Disc Replacement, Several Neck Levels

Kentucky rates for HCPCS 0375T

Worn or damaged discs in the neck are removed through an incision at the front of the neck and replaced with artificial discs designed to keep moving, at several levels in one operation. Bone spurs pressing on the spinal cord or nerve roots are cleared away, and the surfaces of the vertebrae are shaped to seat each implant. Unlike a fusion, the treated levels are meant to keep bending and turning afterwards.
