Heart Blood-Flow Monitor, Complete System

Ohio rates for HCPCS 0302T

A complete implanted system that watches for signs of reduced blood flow to the heart muscle is put in or replaced: an electrode placed into the heart and a small monitor implanted under the skin. The system follows the heart's electrical signal continuously and alerts the person when a pattern suggesting a blocked artery appears. Testing the electrode, setting up the monitor and the imaging supervision and interpretation are included.
