Covers the anesthesia care given during an operation on the wrist. The anesthesia clinician provides a general anesthetic, a nerve block that numbs the whole arm, or a combination, then monitors breathing, heart rhythm and blood pressure throughout and manages waking up afterwards. The surgeon's work on the wrist is a separate service and is billed separately.
