New Jersey rates for HCPCS 01654

Anesthesia care for an operation that routes blood around a blocked or damaged artery in the shoulder and armpit using a graft, a length of vein or synthetic tube sewn in above and below the diseased stretch. The anesthesia team keeps the patient asleep or numbs the arm with a nerve block, and watches blood pressure and circulation to the limb while the vessel is clamped. The surgeon's work is charged separately.
