Anesthesia care for an operation to repair a ballooned, weakened stretch of the artery running from the armpit down into the upper arm. The anesthesia team keeps the patient asleep or numbs the arm with a nerve block, and watches blood pressure and circulation to the hand while the artery is clamped and repaired. The surgeon's work is charged separately.
