Idaho rates for HCPCS 01444
Anesthesia care for open surgery on the popliteal artery, the main artery running behind the knee, in which a diseased length of the vessel is replaced or bridged with a graft. It is done when that stretch of artery has blocked off or has ballooned out into an aneurysm. The anesthesia team keeps the patient comfortable and manages blood pressure and circulation to the leg throughout; the surgeon's work is charged separately.
