Helps evaluate a child for autism spectrum disorder by measuring six chemicals in blood plasma, namely alpha-ketoglutarate, alanine, lactate, phenylalanine, pyruvate and succinate, and assigning a metabolic subtype. A related test addresses the same question using RNA from saliva.
