Anesthesia care for an operation on the large blood vessels inside the abdomen. Blood flow may be interrupted and blood loss can be rapid in these operations, so the anesthesia clinician monitors closely and manages fluids, blood pressure and blood replacement throughout. The surgery itself is charged separately.
